This rosary is made in the Anglican style with 4 sets of 7 beads in the loop. The smaller beads are 8 mm African turquoise jasper beads, the large beads are antiqued copper-plated flat rounds with a raised butterfly on either side, and they are separated by 3 mm round antiqued copper beads and 4 mm round obsidian beads, all strung on 49-strand wire with a nylon coating.
The cross is approximately 1.5 inches long, and is hand-carved from robles wood, harvested from eco-friendly, sustainable resources. The entire rosary is approximately 11 inches from the bottom of the cross to the top of the loop when stretched out long.
Butterflies are symbols of transformation and resurrection.
African turquoise is the trade name for a form of jasper from Africa that has similar coloration and patterns as turquoise and is sometimes used as a substitute for turquoise.
